A PBX Modeling Powder Compressibility Evaluation Method Based on Energy Description

Abstract In view of the lack comprehensive consideration pressing process in existing Polymer Bonded Explosive (PBX) powder compressibility evaluation method, re-analysis is firstly carried out, and loading unloading section should be simultaneously considered during PBX modeling evaluation. Based on this idea, a specific energy method for rapidly evaluating proposed through description. This comprehensively considers process, factor can obtained only by simple integration. Using experimental data four typical powders under same conditions, correlation coefficient between compaction density reached 0.993, which verified correctness prediction method.
